Preserving Telugu Literature: Sri Pusapati Krishna Surya Kumar’s Inspirational Efforts

GUNTUR: Sri Pusapati Krishna Surya Kumar, aged 70 and a resident of Guntur, has emerged as a beacon of hope for the preservation and growth of Telugu literature. As the founder of Telugu Kavya Mathanam, a WhatsApp-based educational initiative started in 2019, he has successfully trained over 500 individuals in writing Telugu poetry (Chandassu) and Satakams.

This initiative, driven by his unwavering dedication, operates on a non-profit basis, reaching participants from across India, particularly in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, and even from foreign countries. His program spans 100 days per batch, with 14 batches already trained under his guidance.

Through his efforts, Telugu Kavya Mathanam has become a hub for nurturing talent and fostering love for Telugu poetry. His vision aims to ensure the survival of the rich legacy of Telugu poems for generations to come.
